Julie has always been drawn to photography, jumping in at the early days of digital cameras. After starting with sports and weddings, frequent trips to the national parks of the west developed a love of wildlife. She now travels the country looking for the most elusive animals in challenging climates, but still relishes frequent excursions into the Smokies in her backyard.
